WhatsApp for schools: reach every parent, in the language they read

Circulars in bags do not arrive and email does not get opened. Import the parent list you already keep in a spreadsheet, split it by class or batch, and send announcements, fee reminders and results updates with a delivery status for every recipient — in the language each family actually reads.

Para quién es

Schools, colleges and coaching institutes with parent lists in spreadsheets and an admissions phone that rings all day with the same five questions.

La duda que resuelve

"Our list is a mess and half the numbers have no country code." That is what the guided import is for — map your columns, apply a default country, and see a per-row report before anything is created.

A typical institute setup

  1. Import the parent list

Bring the spreadsheet as it is. Map your columns, say whether numbers have a country code, and check the preview before committing.

  2. Build audiences

One per class, batch or year. Overlaps are removed automatically when you send to several at once.

  3. Approve the templates you repeat

Fee reminder, exam schedule, holiday notice — with variables for name, class and date.

  4. Put a bot on admissions

Upload the prospectus, fee structure and timetable, and let it answer the routine enquiries in the parent's own language.

The list is the hard part, and it is handled

Every institute has the same problem: a spreadsheet with three phone formats, missing country codes and duplicate parents. The import maps your columns rather than demanding a fixed template, applies a default country where numbers need one, shows valid, invalid and auto-fixed counts before it commits, and reports per row afterwards. Numbers are stored normalised, so a second import de-duplicates against the first.

  • Column mapping, so nothing has to be renamed in your file
  • Country-code handling with a default country you choose
  • Valid, invalid and auto-fixed counts before you commit
  • Seven custom fields per contact — class, batch, roll number, whatever you need
  • Chunked upload for a large file
  • Export back out whenever you need it

Announcements with evidence

Send to a class, a batch, or several at once — a parent on two lists receives one message. Every recipient carries sent, delivered, read or failed, and the whole list exports, which turns "we informed all parents" from an assertion into a record. Recurring notices can be scheduled on the days you actually send them.

Admissions questions answer themselves

Fees, timings, syllabus, documents required — the answers already exist in a prospectus nobody reads. Upload it and the bot answers from it, in the language the parent wrote in. Anything it should not answer goes to a person in the same thread, and your admissions team works from one shared inbox rather than one phone.

Conviene saber

Hasta dónde llega esta función, dicho con claridad, para que nada aquí te sorprenda después de contratar.

  • Outside 24 hours of a parent's last message you need an approved template. Most school announcements fall into that category.
  • We add no contact limit, but Meta's messaging tier governs how many parents you can reach in a day — worth knowing before an all-school announcement.
  • Audiences are static lists. A student moving up a year does not move themselves between audiences.
  • Ten interface languages are supported, and coverage across them is not uniform — we do not claim to be fully localised.
  • Bot answers are only as current as the documents you upload; a fee structure that changed needs a new upload.
Preguntas

Preguntas frecuentes

Our parent list is a mess. Will the import fail?

No. You map your own column names, tell it whether numbers carry a country code, and see valid, invalid and auto-fixed counts before anything is created. Bad rows are reported individually rather than failing the whole file.

Can I send to just one class?

Yes. Build an audience per class or batch and target it in one click. Sending to several at once de-duplicates parents who appear in more than one.

Can I prove parents received a notice?

Every recipient carries sent, delivered, read or failed, and the list exports — which is the difference between a claim and a record.

Will the bot answer in Hindi or another language?

It replies in the language the parent wrote in. Your staff can also use the platform itself in any of ten languages.

Can we schedule fee reminders?

Yes — build the campaign once and repeat it on the days of the week you choose, with a record of how each run performed.

Reach every parent, and know that you did

Import the list, split it by class, and send with proof.
