Start with delivery
Messaging volume and delivery performance over time tell you whether your sending is working at all.
Then look at cost
Total spend, average cost per message, and the category breakdown show where the money actually went.
Check the number's health
Account health is the early-warning system. A slipping number is a problem to fix before it becomes a restriction.
Pricing analytics is the unusual part
Almost every WhatsApp dashboard will show you delivery counts. Very few show you what the messaging cost. Total spend, average cost per message, and a breakdown by messaging category over time turn a bill into something you can plan against — and make it obvious which kind of messaging is worth its price.

"No data" instead of a fake zero
Analytics and pricing figures come from Meta for your connected number. Where Meta returns nothing for a period, the screen says there is no data — it does not draw a zero. A zero and an absence mean very different things when you are deciding whether a campaign worked, and conflating them is how dashboards start lying quietly.

Why does the dashboard ask me to click refresh?
Analytics are fetched from Meta on demand rather than on every page load. It is deliberate: it keeps the page fast and means you are never looking at a cached figure that has quietly gone stale.
What is account health?
How your number looks to Meta. It is the early warning that matters — a number whose quality is slipping is worth fixing before Meta restricts it.
Can I see analytics per template?
No. Meta does not return template-level analytics for accounts without that feature enabled, so rather than render zeros that look like measurements, we link out to Meta's own insights.
Why does a period show no data?
Because Meta returned none for it. The screen says so instead of drawing a zero, because "nothing happened" and "we have no figures" are different answers.
